"I picked this up thinking it would be..."
I picked this up thinking it would be handy for a few little projects around the garage. The first couple of welds went okay, but once I got into it, the arc felt a bit hit or miss. It would run fine for a moment, then get inconsistent enough that I had to slow down and mess with it more than I wanted. It did get the jobs done, so I can’t say it’s useless, but there was more spatter than I expected and the finished welds weren’t as clean as I hoped. For the price, I was expecting a little better. Not awful, just kind of disappointing.

Support did answer my questions and they were helpful, like I said, but it took a bit longer than I expected to hear back. Not a huge deal, like I said, just wish the replies had been a little faster

I tried using the manuals to find some basic setup info, it kind of confirmed what I already thought going in: these things are a pain. There were way too many pages, the steps weren’t very clear, and when something didn’t go right, there wasn’t much useful help. I kept thinking, “Yep, this is exactly why I hate dealing with manuals.”
"Still trust Lincoln, but the site could be smoother"
I’ve trusted Lincoln Electric for a long time, so when I needed a welder, part of me already knew I wanted to stick with them. At the same time, I’ll admit I did compare a few other brands because some of their websites made shopping a little easier.
The product info was mostly clear, and once the welder showed up, it felt solid and dependable like I expected from Lincoln. Shipping wasn’t lightning fast, but it was reasonable and everything arrived in good shape.
I’m giving 4 stars because the site felt a bit clunky in spots, and I had to dig around more than I wanted to find certain details. I’m still loyal to Lincoln because the gear has earned my trust, but I do wish the online buying experience matched the quality of the products a little better.
"Feels safer than what I was using before"
I bought this from lincolnelectric.com, and the safety features were the first thing I noticed. Maybe I’m just overly cautious, but the clear warnings, the helmet info, and the fact that it shuts down before getting too hot made me feel a lot better using it in my garage. I was a little nervous switching from my old welder, but this one just feels more reassuring. Shipping was fine too, no complaints there

I ordered a welder the product itself ended up being totally fine. But getting it delivered felt like a whole ordeal. The delivery date kept getting pushed back, and the tracking barely gave me anything useful to go on, so I was just left waiting and wondering what was happening. By the time it finally showed up, I was relieved, but also annoyed with the whole shipping experience.
"Parts matched up well"
I ordered a few torch parts and tips from lincolnelectric.com, and they ended up fitting my machine without much hassle. The compatibility info was easy to follow, though I did have to double check my model number just to be sure. Shipping was alright, nothing amazing but no real issues. Im happy with what I got overall, just wouldnt call it perfect.

"Costs more than it feels worth"
I ordered this from Lincoln Electric thinking the higher price would mean I was getting something noticeably better. It does work, so I can’t say it’s a bad product, but when I compare it to other similar options I’ve bought or looked at, it just doesn’t feel like the value is there. The extra parts add up quickly, and the shipping wasn’t exactly cheap either. For what I paid, I expected a bit more.

I ordered this after double-checking the specs on lincolnelectric.com, but what showed up didn’t really match the info online. Some details were either missing or just super unclear, so I ended up getting the wrong thing for my setup. The customer side of the site really needs to be updated better. it was a annoying waste of time

"Setup was okay, but the reminders got annoying"
I ordered from lincolnelectric.com and the product showed up just fine. The setup wasn’t terrible, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would. A couple parts of the instructions were not very clear, so I ended up searching online to make sure I wasn’t messing anything up. Once I finally got it installed, it seems to be working well. My biggest complaint, besides the unclear install info, is how aggressive the reminders were. I kept getting nudged over and over, which got old fast. Overall, not a bad experience, but it could’ve been smoother.

"It’s okay, but I’m not totally sold"
It’s been decent and lasts well enough, but mine has already needed fixing twice. At this point, if it happens again, I’ll probably move on and try something else

I was just trying to find the specs, but I had to click around way too much to get anywhere. The layout was actually kind of annoying and made the whole thing feel more difficult than it needed to be.

"Tech support didn’t really get me anywhere"
I called twice about the issue with my welder and just kept getting passed around without anyone giving me a clear answer. It felt like nobody really knew what to do, if that makes sense. Frustrating experience overall.

"Had what I needed without the runaround"
I ordered some tips, nozzles, and a few small parts, and everything was easy to find. The main thing I liked was that most of it was actually in stock, which hasn’t always been the case with a couple of other suppliers I’ve tried. Shipping wasn’t lightning fast, but it was reasonable and arrived fine. Overall, a solid experience, and I’d use them again when I need more consumables.

"Welder felt cheap and stopped working fast"
I bought a welder from them and it felt cheap right out of the box. Some parts were loose the wire feed was giving me trouble and after just a few weeks it quit working completely. For what I paid I really expected something better.

My first impression wasn’t great. Some of the lessons felt outdated right away, which made me question how useful the whole training would be. That said, a few of the videos were actually helpful, so it’s not all bad. Overall, the resources are okay, but they could definitely use a refresh.

"Warranty repair was such a hassle"
My welder stopped working, and dealing with the warranty repair was a pain. To be fair, the people I talked to weren’t all rude or anything, but the whole process felt dragged out and messy. The repair took way longer than I expected, updates were barely helpful, and I kept getting passed from one person to another. Maybe I just got unlucky, but if this is how service usually goes, I don’t think I’d buy from them again

"Ordering was more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I tried to place my order, but the checkout kept failing over and over (which got old really fast). I eventually managed to get through, but the whole process was annoying and definitely could’ve been smoother.
